Damon is a qualified and experienced maths and science tutor up to A levels. He has been a teacher for eighteen years in the South African and UK education systems. He has experience with the AQA, CCEA, Pearson, OCR and WJEC exam boards. Damon also has extensive experience teaching mathematics and science to students with Special Education Needs. He is currently working as a Special Education teacher.
Tem is a qualified and experienced Secondary school PE teacher up to A level (including BTEC and GCSEs). She has taught for 15 years. She was the Key Stage 5 Sport Lead, Lead Internal Verifier for Sport, Health and Social Care and Horticulture and was the Vocational lead for her school, overseeing all the qualifications and external verifications. She has also worked as a Standards Verifier for the BTEC Sport qualifications.
After graduating with a degree in Geography and Business Studies, Lawrie spent a number of years working across a variety of industries. He has a range of experience in different sectors which supports his excellent teaching. Having retrained as a Geography Teacher, he finds his background offers him a wide range of real life examples that he can bring into his work, helping include engaging teaching in his subject.
Tom is a young yet experienced teacher who has just finished teaching at a school in East London, famous for the amount of students it sends to Oxbridge and other world-class universities. Tom’s teaching style has been described as “friendly, engaging, and enthusiastic” and his behaviour management as “warm but strict”. Tom says his favourite things about teaching English are building relationships and helping every student find something to be excited about.
Vanessa home schooled and tutored my 8-year-old son for 9 months while he was in year 3. She taught him maths, English and components of the wider year 3 curriculum, including science and the Romans.
