Vanessa Kushner completed her English degree, in Manchester, in 1996, then continued her further education of a PGCE teaching qualification in 1997. She has been successfully tutoring since 1996. She is an international tutor and educational consultant.
Vanessa has extensive knowledge of the education sector from her own experience as a teacher and a parent to four grown up children. She was a previous Assistant Head Teacher, SENCo, Deputy Head Teacher, Advanced Skills Teacher, Advisor to newly qualified teachers and Head of numerous departments, including maths and English. She has worked mainly in the boroughs of Barnet and Hertfordshire but has also tutored online all over the world.
Vanessa has a deep passion for education and mixes kindness, discipline and care within every lesson she continues to teach whilst running a successful tutoring business.
Vanessa has always lived in London but since online teaching became more popular, in recent years, she has thoroughly enjoyed teaching children of all nationalities and backgrounds throughout the United Kingdom and world, over three continents so far.
