Our experienced 7+ teachers support children in their preparation for grammar and private schools’ examinations by teaching all of the academic work. This is then followed by mock exam preparation at a level to suit the individual child. We understand the pressure for children and parents alike and try to make the whole experience as relaxed and informative as possible.
Founder and lead consultant, an expert in her field, Vanessa has been a qualified teacher for 30 years. She has an English degree and a PGSE Certificate in Education. She was previously a Deputy Head Teacher, Advanced Skills Teacher, SENCo and Assistant Head Teacher. She has been tutoring successfully for the 11+, focussing on maths, English, NVR and VR. Children have obtained places in the most prestigious schools in the UK.
Emma is an experienced secondary school, A Level and home education tutor with over 15 years of experience. She specialises in exam preparation to get the best results. She has a passion for Literature and Language and can effectively support learning and encourage an interest in the subject she teaches. She has had great success via the grades students have received. Most are excited to get in touch (post results’ day) as they are over the moon to share news about their results.
Jo is a qualified UK art teacher with over 25 years of experience in art and design. She originally trained in Interior Design, earning a BA (Hons), before retraining as an art teacher 17 years later. Since then, she has taught KS3, GCSE and A-Level Art in UK secondary schools, holding a PGCE and working with a wide range of creative young people. She works with students, families, and schools around the world, helping children develop confidence, creativity, and technical ability — all while having fun.
Jo is a passionate educator with 20 years’ experience. She is a qualified teacher who has taught many students with the 11+. She uses evidence-based approaches, including cognitive load theory, retrieval practice, and tailored assessment to boost learning. With expertise in mentoring and coaching, Jo supports each student to thrive – bringing positivity, enthusiasm, and genuine care to help them reach their full potential.
AnnMarie is a primary school teacher with over 26 years of experience. She has attained excellent Year 6 SATS levels, including achieving results above the national average. She is qualified to teach children from Key Stages 1 to 3 and believes in tailoring learning to meet the individual needs of the learner, to ensure success for all. Her specialities are the 11+, maths and English.
