She was previously a Deputy Head Teacher, Advanced Skills Teacher, SENCo and Assistant Head Teacher. She has been tutoring successfully for the 11+, focussing on maths, English, NVR and VR. Children have obtained places in the most prestigious schools in the UK.
Sue has been a qualified English Language and Literature and a drama teacher for thirty years. She has a proven successful track record in tutoring children in the UK and abroad, for GCSE and A level English with great results. Sue develops students’ skills and confidence in their struggling areas. Sessions are focussed on specified areas of learning and using Sue’s assessments of areas where the children need a boost.
Damon is a qualified and experienced maths and science tutor up to A levels. He has been a teacher for eighteen years in the South African and UK education systems. He has experience with the AQA, CCEA, Pearson, OCR and WJEC exam boards. Damon also has extensive experience teaching mathematics and science to students with Special Education Needs. He is currently working as a Special Education teacher.
Robiul is a qualified maths teacher, tutoring since 2017, that knows what it takes to achieve top grades. He earned a first-class honours degree in Maths with Economics. He has helped countless students reach or exceed their predicted grades, from securing 8s and 9s to helping foundation students pass confidently. Ceren is a qualified and experienced biology, chemistry, physics, maths, English teacher for students up to GCSE’s. She has been working in schools for over 15 years. She has experience in working with EAL and students with Special Educational Needs. Stephen has been a qualified and experienced teacher of Business Studies and Economics for over 10 years, including many as a curriculum leader and head of department. He has taught up to A-Level and achieved consistently excellent results. He has a great love of his subjects. His enthusiasm for teaching stems from a firm belief in the importance of education in the lives of young people and allowing them to achieve their aspirations.
Lou is a tutor who is supportive and friendly and focuses on building confidence, clear understanding and strong exam skills through relaxed, engaging lessons. After graduating with a degree in Geography and Business Studies, Lawrie spent a number of years working across a variety of industries. He has a range of experience in different sectors which supports his excellent teaching. Having retrained as a Geography Teacher, he finds his background offers him a wide range of real life examples that he can bring into his work, helping include engaging teaching in his subject.
Maria Grazia is an Italian native speaker with over ten years’ teaching experience in UK schools and three years in Italy. She specialises in Italian and Spanish, with proven expertise teaching GCSE and International Baccalaureate courses. Her career includes academic study and professional work abroad, supported by scholarships and exchanges. She delivers structured, engaging lessons that build learner confidence, fluency and cultural understanding.
Emma is an experienced secondary school, A Level and home education tutor with over 15 years of experience. She specialises in exam preparation to get the best results. She has a passion for Literature and Language and can effectively support learning and encourage an interest in the subject she teaches. She has had great success via the grades students have received. Most are excited to get in touch (post results’ day) as they are over the moon to share news about their results.
Carol is qualified to teach at secondary and University level and specialises in Social Sciences and MFL. She has taught mainly at FE and HE level in the classroom but is also vastly experienced in online tutoring and Adult Education. Fluent in German with a doctorate in Sociology, Carol teaches German and Sociology, Psychology, Criminology and French. She also has an ESOL qualification.
Keeley is a passionate tutor with experience working across various age groups, subjects and SEND. She offers a friendly approach and tailors each lesson to the individual students needs and interests; she makes complex topics accessible. She provides a comfortable learning environment so that they are able to develop their understanding and confidence.
